Project, Inc. appreciates the support of its patrons, who, through their generosity, assist us in fulfilling our vision to provide employment for future generations of individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Potential Benefits of Charitable Gifts:

  • Can provide an income tax deduction
  • In many cases can avoid or delay payment of capital gains tax
  • May increase personal after-tax cash flow
  • May increase the amount passing to one's heirs

Project, Inc. accepts gifts of:

  • Cash - which can be specifically directed to the building fund, equipment fund, general operations, sales vehicle expense, etc.
  • Automobiles - the sale of which will be reported to the donor for tax purposes.
  • In-Kind Gifts - such as computers, printers, office furniture, or other fixtures used in the business.
  • Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust (CRAT) - an irrevocable trust which pays a fixed dollar amount each year to a beneficiary with the balance transferring to the charities at a specified time.
  • Charitable Remainder Unitrust - an irrevocable trust which pays a fixed percentage of the value of its holding each year to the beneficiary for a period of time with the balance transferring to the charities at a specified time.
  • Pooled Income Fund.
  • Charitable Gift Annuity.
  • Charitable Lead Trusts - an irrevocable trust that pays a fixed dollar amount to a charity for a period of years after which the remaining assets are distributed to the donor, spouse, heirs, or others.
  • Life Insurance Charitable Plan - the policy holder may designate a charity as the beneficiary or provide tax deductible funds for the charity to pay the annual premiums on a new policy.
